Gis Open Sit APP aims to digitize the information detection process on field in order to optimize the revenue management (local tax) for single business activity.

By mutual agreement between SMARTS and the User, Gis Open Sit APP is only used to take a census of business activity, as shown below, and it can be deactivated/disabled by SMARTS or by the User at any time without notice and/or any explanation.

No sensitive private information will be collected by Gis Open Sit.

According to this Privacy Policy

SMARTS will collect information about the census of business activity, as photos and positions. Information gathering will be started directly by the User, never in a transparent way. This Privacy Policy explains the reasons for data collection and processing by SMARTS. We invite you carefully read this disclosure.

If you want agree to the collection and processing of data by SMARTS, install the application and contact your system administrator. If you do not agree to the collection and processing of data by SMARTS, uninstall the application. Why do you gather this data?

SMARTS is a provider of ICT products and solutions. Gis Open Sit APP has been designed with the objective of providing an instrument to digitize the information detection process of business activity by its personnel on field. The related information is needed to calculate the value of local taxes owed by a single business activity. The use of Gis Open Sit APP is aimed at own expert personnel. SMARTS does not use the data collected through Gis Open Sit APP if not for the reasons explained in this Privacy Policy.

 

What data is collected from the user's device?

 

SMARTS would like to collect the following information:

• Generic information about the business activity: company name, VAT number and fiscal code, registered address, type of activity;
• Photo report about the information covered by the census: street number, driveway, advertising sign, occupied public land, curtain and any item for which a tax is expected;
• Latitude and longitude: the street number and therefore the business activity will be located on a geographic map.

Location permissions are needed to locate business activity and are invoked by the User. It is not possible to trace the User position without your consent.

How are data collected and how often?

Information above are recorded and stored locally on the device. The device will send the entered data through HTTPS connections to the SMARTS servers. These secure servers will therefore be accessible by SMARTS. Gis Open Sit APP seamlessly collects data only when you will use the application and you will save the entered data. Once the recorded data has been received and safely stored by a SMARTS server, this will be confirmed to Gis Open Sit APP and the data locally stored will be deleted. SMARTS will not transmit the data to third parties. Such data will be processed by SMARTS S.R.L. SPIN-OFF UNIRC with registered office and administration in Reggio Calabria (RC), Via Figurella 2A - as data controller of personal data in according to D. Lgs. number 196/2003 (Regulation regarding the protection of personal data) and in according to GDPR number 679/2016 (General Data Protection Regulation) only for the purposes related to the use of Gis Open Sit APP and in order to optimize the revenue management processes (local tax). If the application is deleted, all data will be erased.
